About Our Chapter

MOMS Club® of Fullerton & Buena Park, CA is a local chapter of International MOMS Club®, which is a support group for mothers. We are MOMS Offering MOMS Support. Our chapter serves mothers residing in the city of Fullerton or Buena Park, CA. (If you do not live in Fullerton or Buena Park, find your local chapter here.)

Our members are approximately between 20 and 50 years old. We have stay-at-home moms, part-time working moms and full-time working moms. Some of us are first time moms, and others are moms with more than one child. No matter what "mom stage" we are in, we are supportive of one another. We have children as young as newborn up until high school. All of our children, no matter their age, are always welcome to our kid friendly events. (For more information on our club's activities and events, please see our Activities page.)

In order to become a member you must submit a membership application, photography statement and an annual membership fee of $25. This gives you access to participate in all our chapter’s events and access to our Facebook group. The money collected from member’s annual dues goes to covering the cost of meeting expenses, party supplies, snacks, administrative fees, registration with the International MOMS Club®, and community service events we hold.

History of MOMS Club®

MOMS Club® began in 1983 when Mary James, an at-home mother in California, decided she was tired of being alone at home. She wanted to meet other at-home mothers and she wanted to find other at-home children for her children to play with. When she discovered there were no other organizations that met during the day and allowed her to come with her baby and preschooler, she decided to start a brand new organization just for at-home mothers, and MOMS Club® was born.

The chapter she started was so successful, she knew mothers in other areas must have been needing the MOMS Club® too. Soon she and other volunteers were helping mothers start MOMS Club® across the country and around the world!

MOMS Club® currently has 2,100+ chapters in the US alone and more than 110,000 members worldwide. Find your local chapter here.
